THE INIMITABLE BPS IS BACK for our monthly nights of poetry, music and watermelon with a new start time of 6:45!!

Last month, the top 4 poets as judged by you won their spots for the Grand Slam 2017. If you want to take your poetry to the next level, sign your name up at 6:30pm for your chance to compete.

Also don't forget our new youth open mic, FLIP THE SCRIPT will be kicking off in the same space at 5pm.

Rules for the poets:
- 3minute...s to perform your piece, no props or music.
- Poem must be your original work
-5 Randomly selected members of the crowd will judge the performances.
-No age restrictions
- Semi- awesome prizes!
-Watermelon is bae
and its FREE for all!

Bios of this month's feature:
Erfan Daliri is an internationally toured spoken word artist with a background in engineering, and over a decade of experience in youth work, community development, event management and workshop facilitation. After completing a Graduate Diploma in Communication for Social Change in 2011, Erfan began writing and performing poetry full time.

Bio of this month's supporting act:
Pola Fanous is a young Egyptian spoken-word poet and political activist. He began writing at the age of 14, now 18, Pola has performed his poems at slams, schools and rallies all around NSW.
