Fresh off a U.K. romp supporting Kate Tempest's album launch at the iconic Brixton Academy, Omar Musa, Malaysian-Australian author, rapper and poet from Queanbeyan, Australia will once again brace the stage at Bankstown Poetry Slam alongside support feature Zach Janus and a slew of home grown Poets, Storyteller's, Griots and Wordsmiths.
Poetry aficionado's, appreciators of Hip-Hop and literature that beat's with a thunderous heart you absolutely do not want to miss this!

Rules for the poets:
- 3minutes to perform your piece, no props or music.
- Poem must be your original work
-5 Randomly selected members of the crowd will judge the performances.
-No age restrictions
- Semi- awesome prizes!
- Top 4 scoring poets will still have a spot in this year's Grand Slam.
